If you are a new resident, whether an owner or renter, we encourage you to attend an orientation to get to know us better! During this session, we will review the shared community rules and collect important contact information like phone numbers and emails. Don't miss out on essential community news, updates about the Clubhouse Pool hours, social gatherings throughout the town, and details on the upcoming Colony West Board Meeting! 

Please reach out to the office within 30 days of your move-in to complete the necessary steps for orientation.

Next Upcoming Condominium Association Board Meeting: 

Please join us for the next Colony West COA Meeting on October 14th @ 5:00 PM. Owners are welcome to gather at the Clubhouse Meeting Room located at 31 Colony West Drive. Doors open @ 4:45 PM.

Next Upcoming Homeowners Association Board Meeting: 

Please join us for the next meeting on October 14th. The Condominium meeting will begin first, followed immediately by the HOA meeting. 

The Clubhouse Pool is open to all residents! Each home is allowed to bring 2 guests. This facility is governed by the IDPH and is monitored with 24/7 security and surveillance. Please note that there is no lifeguard on duty, so swim at your own risk. The Clubhouse Pool hours are daily from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM, weather permitting, from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

 Clubhouse Pool is set to close on Monday, September 14th. Last day to swim is 9/13/26.

For Condos: Tuesday and Friday

• Please do not obstruct the dumpster hutches in any manner. 
• Please do not leave trash on the ground.
• Please do not place items on top of lid.

For Townhomes, Duplexes, and Individuals: Monday 

• Please make sure the garbage is at the curb by 6:00 AM to ensure timely curbside pickup. 
• To be eligible for this service, you must be opted-in through the Colony West Management Office, which is included in your monthly dues. 
• You will receive a rolling garbage bin and can choose a small or big recycling container. 
• For those who prefer alternatives, you are welcome to use any blue dumpster at Colony West or pay out of pocket for another vendor. 

Recycling: For Condos: Friday 

• Please break down all recycling. 
• Do not leave items outside of blue bins. 
• This is a program through the city of Champaign called 'Feed the Thing.' 

For Townhomes, Duplexes, and Individuals, Recycling: Monday 

• Please place your recycling in a separate container from your garbage.
• It's important to note that your recycling will not be picked up if you are not opted-in to curbside garbage pickup. 
• Additionally, you may use any of the extra recycling containers next to the blue dumpster hutches. 

The HOA contracts lawn care for the common area and dwelling units outside of fences. You'll see them out on Mondays during the Clubhouse Pool hours picking up sticks and litter, mowing, and treating the lawn with weed control or fertilizer, as well as leaf/grass blowing.

Yard Waste Collection aligns with the City of Champaign's bi-yearly collection season. Each Spring and Fall, the City of Champaign will travel locally throughout the neighborhood to collect yard waste. The Management Team will gather yard waste and leaf bags, provided they are stored properly, and relocate them to a centralized location. Community members are encouraged to bring their yard waste to the Clubhouse Shed during this time. Please note that yard waste will not be collected at any other times.
